Brazilians seem to be very comfortable in their bodies and wear what is comfortable but not necessarily attractive. Dental floss bikinis abound. Hot sand is sprayed with water to make it bearable for walking or playing soccer volley ball -- no hands.

This is one of the top attractions in Rio. Still along the beach and see the beautiful people from all over the world. Beware of smart young thief's.

I'd say it's worth walking from Copacabana to Ipanema to see this place as well. it's not as busy and well known as Copacabana, but it's equally nice. It can be a better option, especially if Copacabana is crowded. it's only 15 mins walk from...More

Ipanema is considered Rio's crown jewel. It offers the
best view of the sunset from Arpoador and is

can be found on the charming Garcia d'Ávila Avenue.
