A mandatory tour for anyone going to Pipa. The tour includes a not very high price per person on speedboats + an environmental fee (less than 10 reais). It lasts almost 2 hours and walks around the entire Bay, where you can actually see several dolphins up close. In addition to them, there are beautiful views of the surrounding beaches and walls and you can even swim a little. I highly recommend going while the tide in Pipa is low, which makes swimming at the Centro beach difficult. This way, you make the most of your time twice.

I got to the beach walking from Madeiro, if the tide is low it is a very accessible walk and the landscape is beautiful. It can also be seen from the ocean on the boat rides available to see the dolphins. As it is a reserve, there is nothing on the beach which makes it even more beautiful. Clean, semi-empty beach. You can see dolphins appearing in the ocean from time to time. Highly recommended but you have to take care of the times when the tide rises because you could be left without an exit.

Very charming. I suggest going close to 9:00. When it starts to fill the dolphins of go away more
They keep hunting for tail and the increasing flow of people shocks the cardumes. Another tip is keep an eye on the seagulls, they signal that they have a wave, and end up attracting the dolphins.

Pipa in general is beautiful, a small center that becomes pedestrian at night, many shopping and dining establishments. Getting to the beaches is a little difficult, even more so if you go with older people. On all beaches you have to go down at least 150 steps and go up the same on the way back. Getting to Baía Dos Golfinhos is a bit complicated due to the tide, you can only get there through the center of the pipa and walking to the left for approximately 200 meters or by madeiro which is a little further away. We went to Praia do Amor by car (5 min from our hotel), it has parking, showers, etc.

The beach is delightful, warm water, generally without waves, which makes the water crystal clear. The beach is completely surrounded by sand and cliffs, so beautiful! You have to move a little further away from the edge, to get there I need to go deeper (but this can vary, as on different trips I found different situations, like the beach being a little deeper and with some waves.
I think that in just one trip I was not blessed with the presence of dolphins. They always cheer us up!
Tent structure: practically none. Now people have started to leave some tents on the hillside so some vendors come there, but I always take my things with me, just in case.
Access (ONLY AT LOW TIDE): easy, quick walk along the sand, but you must be careful and not walk close to the cliffs, due to the risk of collapse.

Access is via the center beach: go down to the center beach and walk to the left. You must observe the tide table for both the outbound and return journey: access is via the sand, the lower the tide, the easier access. As the tide rises the passage becomes closer to the cliff and more difficult, pay attention to the time. Beautiful, clean beach. Great for bathing. No tents, no loud music. There is the option to rent a chair and umbrella. There is also an option to consume drinks/beer/soft drinks/water. The day is all about contemplating the sea and watching the dolphins that come close to the beach to hunt for sardines.

Praia lindíssima. When the tide is low you can walk through the beach of Centro. It is just to observe or enter the sea in the mud that soon the dolphins appear near you. I loved this experience. Besides dolphins the beach is wonderful. There are also boat rides, but the most time we saw dolphin was well before the boats arrived.

Beautiful bay. We passed with the low sea, and we knew this beach that in one part of the bay has waves to dive and the other a quiet to make the iron. Very few people have a couple of places that serve you drinks and have umbrellas and loungers. You have to be vigilant when the water rises and be able to leave in time...

These beaches are breath taking and seeing dolphins 🐬 is amazing. We were able to hire a kayak to be nearer. To access dolphin bay you have cross the rocks which is easier barefoot & when the tide is out obviously. There are food & drink guys that you hire a sunbed from. All in all you can spend many days just enjoying the nature, the ocean and the ambience. Beautiful

Awesome! I saw a lot of dolphins swimming very close to me! The beach is very clean and beautiful. I don’t think it’s necessary to buy the boat tickets to see the dolphins. In my opinion it is the best Pipa beach.
