Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is not possible to make an evaluation, the site is closed. The owner is going through personal problems and is not opening the place for visitation. The construction is quite interesting, as well as the proposal, sorry not being working. I hope you operate again.

I respect the effort of the owner, but I would recommend a visit only for those who have already visited the other attractions in the area. However, if you want to find out about the symbols of you family, and have them copied, this is a OK place.

When you look from outside you think it's a bigger place or a small Castle, but inside it's only one room and a small store. But for the ones who likes swords, knives and armors it's a nice place to visit. They got the insignia of many European families.

A little colection of non-impressive pieces, and at the end they offer you the possibility to buy the symbol of your family. In fact, it is a way of take your money...

I should have read the reviews! You go down the road and this huge castle appears before you; a knight guards the huge door into the castle. It's a great photo opportunity and really you should turn back there. Yes there are things from "The Hobbit" and "lord of the Rings" available from any good catalogue but even stopping to look at the small display case of knives and swords, the whole visit could have lasted no more than 10 minutes. You are in a little room which is about the size of our living room. The only sort of useful thing is to have your family history read for you from a computer except that we had had ours already professionally researched and it differed from his very loose version. It was one of the most disappointing places we visited.

The place is tiny with some ancient things, family coat of arms, swords, shields. Not have much that see, is only one room with all. The owner does family coat of arms, and him and your wife are persons likeable.

The museum has an approach on weapons (all kinds and from everywhere) and family names, their meanings and symbols. And also the entire story of the building is a prove of man's will

My kids loved the place. 2 boys that like fight stuff, so you can imagine that they had fun! Was an interesting place to visit. Off course the place charge a fee to get in. Come on! The guys need to make a living and this is not an easy thing in Brazil. The owners were very helpful in explain everything and they were very gentle as well. They helped my kids to dress up like knights and hold huge swords. We may came back one day with the kids now teenagers.

It was closed at the time it said it was open. The neighbor said that after his wife died he no longer opens at the right hours. There's a day that opens. There's a day that doesn't open.

The castle is quite cool and has many interesting items! The tour is guided, with Gilberto (owner) working alone there and he himself made much of the items throughout his life. Talking to him brings a wealth of details and learning, which is worth it! In addition, it consults the origin of your last name and the bracelet, making it possible for you to discover origins you didn’t imagine.
