A must see. The landmark of Florianopolis is this old beautiful iron bridge. It is currently undergoing a lengthy restoration, but you can easily get an impression of it.

It is an Engineering marvel, but It is not beautiful in itself. If have the time and are around, go to the viewing point. If not, dont bother.

A great view point over the beach and new bridge. Great to see that major renovation work is now being undertaken; this is a piece of engineering that is very worth saving for the future. Good viewed from the sea as well.

Well, it's a bridge. It have some important history, and is still very central to the city. But, unless you're driving through it, don't waste your time visiting. Still, fells good in the eyes.
