Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This beach is reported to be 7 km. long and that seems about right. I certainly walked about 5 km. of it. This is a nice wide sand beach separated from the roadway by a wide grass park. There are frequent statues and monuments along this greenway, as well as places to eat, showers, foot-wash stations and benches.

Walking along the longest beach front garden in the world is a great pleasure. You can just sit and observe the passerbys, or stroll along the garden enjoying the sun, the beach, the ocean.

It's a nice walk. The beach is an ordinary paulista beach. There are places to eat and drink on the boardwalk.

Starting from the 4-6 lane oceanfront highway, interior side is all highrises. The beach side starts with about 10-15 feet red and white stone mosaic walkway, then bike lanes wide enough for 3 abreast. Then green space, a public garden. It's supposed to be over 7km long, but if you walk the concrete pathways is got to be 1.5-2 times longer. The greenway design includes frequent stations with monuments, sculptures, fountains, even a little library. There are candle shaped showers and foot wash stations to wash off sand, and from them you do not get more sand all over since you're walking to the green and paved areas. The lighting is really cool. It looks like ship masts.
It seems like a half mile of smooth fine sand, compacted enough that I could walk with a cane and not sink in. I saw more people jogging the beach than on the walkways. The sand is firm enough to run, and wide enough to not bother the sunbathers and families with kids enjoying the beach.
Then there's ocean. Again theres a long walk before you get more than knee deep
But there are surfers, parasailers and windsailers enjoying the water. Also along the beach are children's play areas. And gym equipment. And volleyball and football (soccer) courts. Really something for everyone!
As I sit here on a park bench, - there are many in each section from roadside, to garden area, to facing the beach In sunny or shady areas

Santos is a port municipality headquartered in the metropolitan region of Baixada Santista, located on the coast of the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The weather varies a lot, but if you want to sun bathe, before leaving the house look at your phone the weather forecast.
To get there, you can go by car, motorcycle, bus, or if you are from another city further away, you can go by plane. I went with my uncles, my cousin and my mother, to visit my cousins who live there. It is a cozy, beautiful city with a variety of places to visit.
In Santos there is a wonderful waterfront where people walk quietly in the late afternoon. The sand on the beach is clean, the water is cold and a little dark due to the passage of ships to the port. We didn't visit any restaurant, because we only stayed two days, we only ate fast foods. We also went to Praia Grande, which was about forty minutes from where we stayed, the water of the beach is clearer, and the waves stronger than another, because there is no passage of ships. Açaí and bait are very good. If you have opportunity to know Santos, will not regret, because I loved.

8 km ( 5 miles ) of beautiful wide sand beach and narrow park. What a place to people watch, walk or bike on a nice day. Plenty of sheltered places to rest, eat and drink. Can spend the whole day.

My wife and I walked some on this wide sandy beach that had very few people. We were here for the walk, not to swim (so do not know how the water is). We did not stay long as it started to rain (probably why there were not many people on the beach). Of what we did see, it was clean.

Very nice to walk from one end to another. Lots of places to have something to drink and eat and also some showers available as during the summer is bloody hot.
