Neighbourhood:
Sé, which derives its name from Sé Square, is a central neighbourhood in historic São Paulo. Close by, the Law School, the Museum of the Court of Justice and the Metropolitan Cathedral offer inspiring architecture. If you are looking for cultural activities, head to Caixa Cultural and check the schedule. In the area there is a popular pedestrian street called “Rua Direita”, one of the first streets in the region, which today marks the crowded perimeter. Sé is a great area to explore during daytime, but use caution if visiting alone at night.

Parque Tenente Siqueira Campos - Trianon Park is a notable park located on Paulista Avenue in São Paulo. The park was named after Lieutenant Siqueira, a Brazilian military officer and politician who participated in the Tenentist Revolt that occurred in 1924. It was one of the most important events that occurred in the city. The park was established in 1892 and was designed by French landscape designer Paul Villon and was created to give a feel of an Atlantic tropical forest.

Lots of amazingly beautiful trees in the well-maintained park alongside Av. Paulista. I especially liked the Anhanguera statue.

Parque Trianon is a pretty little park in Jardins district. It is shady and quiet. You can get away from the street noise. It is full of mature trees and vegatation, so it is cool even on a hot December day....

You can stroll though, sit on a bench and watch the world go by, then go out onto the street where there are street markets on Sun on the Avenida Paulista.

Small tropical Brazilian park just across the way from MASP. Small park of dense foliage with well maintained walkways, almost made me forget that I was in the middle of the world's biggest cities.

We saw many locals strolling through the park, jogging and exercising, as well as just sitting on one of the many benches available and reading. There is a small neat children's play ground, as well as a exercise area used by locals. When we were there a local artist group was teaching circle dancing to anyone how wish to participate.

We went there for the Saturday Art Market, from 10 til 2, to see what the various local artists were selling. The artist set up at the entrance to the park across from MASP. Saw some very nice works. Was told that there are also antique vendors there, but since it was just before Carnival none where there. Will need to go back.

Would not go there after dark!!!!

We visited this park as part of an overview of Sao Paulo.
We were surprised at several things: the park was small (maybe two blocks?) but you really could forget you were in the city / it was very clean / it had some pretty cool trees for us foreigners to gawk at. While I probably wouldn't make a stop just for this park, if you are touring Paulista Avenue it was worth the visit. It was a refreshing break.

Nice place to take a quick break from the surrounding heat and bustle. Remarkably cooling and quiet. I've been here three times in 5 years and every time the amount of police standing outside staggers me, lord only knows why they congregate here.

The Trianon Park is a great place to find some shade from the sun and escape from the bustle of Avenida Paulista for a bit. The woodland contains some of the last remaining parts of the Atlantic rainforest that covered thousands of miles of Brazil at one point.

The park has lots of (not very comfortable) benches so there are plenty of places to sit down and read or have a sandwich. There are playgrounds for children, sculptures hidden in the woods and it is a popular place with joggers. Concerts and other events are held there at the weekend. There are lots of birds singing and flittering around but nothing of any great interest to a birdwatcher. There used to be sloths and little monkeys there too but they disappeared a long time ago.

The Park is split into two with a pedestrian bridge over Alameda Santos linking the two halves. The part on the Santos side is quieter and less popular.

The main drawbacks are the noise from Paulista and Santos, which can be deafening if a demonstration is taking place, and the presence of drug addicts and alcoholics. One tried to rob me once and when I pointed him out to the police they were uninterested. So be on your guard.

If you are curious to see typical Brazilian trees and don't have the time to go to the Burle Marx park, this is the place you should visit!
It provides an oasis to relax after strolling up and down Av. Paulista and lies right across the Avenida from MASP museum.
It also has a small but nice and clean playground for children - mostly in the shade of the big old trees...

I had walked past this park several times going up and down Av Paulista. Usually it was at night and the park was closed. Anyway, the park covers a couple of blocks. A road runs through the middle of it, but there's a bridge that goes over the street.

Nice park with a lot of different vegetation. There are a number of walkways going through the park. Seemed to be a hangout for older folks and young couples. There was a playground, so quite a few little one's running around.

Park has security or police in there, so no worries about crime. While not a huge park, it's a nice, quiet, shaded area to walk around. You almost forget about the traffic out on Av Paulista.

Only entered the park as we had walked out of the São Paulo Museum of Art opposite and it was a lovely day, but what a great little surprise this wonderful park was. A mini rain forest (with trees marked to show you which types they are), with little bridges and walks and paths, in a space that takes no more than 10-15 minutes to walk around ! A little haven off the bustling Ave. Paulista!
