A surprising find and a tranquil spot

A surprising find and a tranquil spot - worth checking out when you are in Sao Paulo. An island of peace that locals use too - that's a recommendation in itself !

We stopped by this park after visiting the MASP museum across the street. What a treat! There were beautiful walking paths in the middle of this little forest. It even smelled like a forest. There were lots of little benches, a playground, and restrooms inside. There were lots of people just sitting and enjoying the scenery, walking dogs, and doing... More

While walking and enjoying the people watching I came upon this Park. It is an Oasis in the middle of a cement jungle. The dense foliage of plants and trees makes a peaceful setting. Very nice wide paths to walk, lots of benches and several play areas for children. A few statues to examine and rest rooms. The birds singing... More

Of course we visited "Trianon" Park when we were staying nearby. It's a cool break from Avenida Paulista's hustle and bustle. Saw people jogging or walking dogs on leashes. If you need to use the public toilet, bring your own paper.

Small park full of trees and green. A nice walk in the middle of the city. Playground for kids and many benches to sit and read a book

Small tropical Brazilian park just across the way from MASP. Small park of dense foliage with well maintained walkways, almost made me forget that I was in the middle of the world's biggest cities. We saw many locals strolling through the park, jogging and exercising, as well as just sitting on one of the many benches available and reading. There is... More

If you are curious to see typical Brazilian trees and don't have the time to go to the Burle Marx park, this is the place you should visit! It provides an oasis to relax after strolling up and down Av. Paulista and lies right across the Avenida from MASP museum. It also has a small but nice and clean playground... More

I had walked past this park several times going up and down Av Paulista. Usually it was at night and the park was closed. Anyway, the park covers a couple of blocks. A road runs through the middle of it, but there's a bridge that goes over the street. Nice park with a lot of different vegetation. There are a... More

Only entered the park as we had walked out of the São Paulo Museum of Art opposite and it was a lovely day, but what a great little surprise this wonderful park was. A mini rain forest (with trees marked to show you which types they are), with little bridges and walks and paths, in a space that takes no... More

It is a very small park but definitely worth stopping by. It seems that they managed to keep here the original rainforest from 400 hundred years back.

Staying in Jardins

Neighbourhood Profile
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighbourhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighbourhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
