Good resort

Lovely resort, plenty of food restaurants with Bulgarian food and a nice selection of shops to see. Cheap ski passes and nice slopes. Lovely weather mid February and March.

I love Borovets - it's small enough not to lose people but large enough to have a challenge for every level. Not too much queuing for lifts , a non pretentious resort and the food is really very good. The regional speciality chicken soup is worth the trip on its own!

A resort for beginners and intermediate skiers. Friendly atmosphere, good for families, most hotels are within walking distance from slopes.About a dozen or so shops to check out in the evening plus a variety of eating places & bars. Transfer is 1 hour 15 mins from Sofia.

Borovets was great again. Small resort, but enough for a week. Loads to see and do. Snow was great, every run open. People friendly. Great for children and two thirds cheaper than the Alps! Third visit and will be back for the fourth.

There is varied types of slopes, a good lift system ( I was there during half term and it coped well with the increased number of... More

Very satisfied with the number and variety of the skiing offer: many slopes of various levels, excellent slopes conditions and maintenance and very helpful guides for those seeking adventure

Nice place but too many "strip joints" for my liking, especially when children on the streets. Most restaurants and bars are small and have only 1 toilet that are poorly looked after. Maybe my age but these things should be properly maintained. Skiing was good but mostly red runs. Recommend the Masala Pathway for a leisurely 7 mile ski on... More

This was a brilliant place to learn to ski. The resort itself is a nice compact size and we thoroughly enjoyed our week. There are plenty of places to eat and the reps for the different restaurants and bars are not at all too pushy. Credit has to be given to our ski instructor, Mitko, who was funny, a very... More

Lovely friendly resort We skied together with tuition even though we have skied for many years. Our instructor was more of a guide and friend.
