Borovets is ideal for families, especially beginners and intermediates. Most of the slopes are wide. Some of the green runs are a bit narrow but it is good for beginners to learn how to control their speed. Two of the red runs are interrupted by a green run going across it so both slopes have to be careful when approaching... More

Great for everyone suits all needs. Going out, eating out etc. Lovely slopes but too busy on first day however also wouldn't recommend for beginners as not many green slopes

As a first time snowboarder I was disappointed that there was o travelator or lift to get us up the nursery slopes. However that was my only grumble about the holiday. we had plenty of snow and a wide enough range for novices. By the end of the week we could safely, if not confidently descend the red runs. The... Borovets Ski Resort is an excellent place for both beginners and advanced skiers. There are different types of slopes, from the green to the black ones. It has all the necessary facilities. That was our first skiing experience and we found it fascinating! There are ski schools, which you can attend or you can take an individual trainer (average 25€... More

Visited as a couple 12-19 Jan 2017, one advanced skiier and one beginner! Excellent value for money. Don't pay for half board in your hotel as the food is so good and cheap there's no point! We made this mistake at Hotel Samokov and next time will probably look at a chalet or apartment. Everything within good walking distance. Two... More

Second year in a row going to Borovets. Hunter's ski school is VERY highly recommended and good value for money. Vasko is THE best instructor in Hunters especially at Carving on the slopes.

Great snowfall and lovely locals. Food was all great and very cheap. Looking at maybe spending 30 Levs max a day and that's living like a king with a few alcoholic drinks.

Very nice ski traces, lifts and nature! But in case you are there together with hundreds of low quality foreign tourists, you are in trouble...

Da da da! wonderful snow all pistes open and hardly any people. The skiing is good enough for all levels. The food and drinks are so cheap in comparison to France Italy etc. Accommodation basic but adequate put it on your list of places to visit. £790 for two people including flights accommodation half board ski passes and tuition bargain!!

A very basic aki resort suitable mainly for beginners with a few intermediate slopes. The infrastructure is extremely old. Was a fun visit.
