I did it in july and it is okay! just bring a Pancho and buy some of the canvas trekking shoes that the locals wear. trip was still amazing!

Add Myo Lwin (mr. Bike) on facebook. He's easy to reach that way. Or in Hsipaw at the Red Dragon Hotel.
