I was lucky enough to take two Soksabike tours, and I would gladly do another! This is a fantastic way to really see local lifestyles, something that is often difficult for tourists, in a fun and socially responsible way. Soksabike supports the families involved in its tours, provides training and education for its wonderful staff, and helps to funderstand fun... More

Great ride this morning with Phalla. Good organisation from start to finish. Bikes in good order and the half day tour took in lots of really interesting stuff around Battambang. Visit to the killing fields at the end was sobering and our guide was very informative about Khmer Rouge. Good value and very well organised.

I did the half day livelihoods tour with Makara & it was great. He was very diligent in checking my safety on the bike & extremely knowledgeable. He has great English & seems to be friendly with all the families we visited. I thoroughly recommend this tour as a great way to get an understanding of the local community.

We learned a lot about the real Cambodia and had great fun! Even though we sent an email inquiry for a tour only the night before, they immediately responded and organized our half day local livelihood tour. Our guide Makara was super friendly, open, took great care to guide us safely through the traffic and answered all our questions with... More

Hello Suanne & Isabelle, Thank you for writting a 5-star review of our local livelhood tour. I feel exactly the same about the price of our tour it can seem a little expensive, but as you say the reason it is high is because we give 47% of the tour price to the local communties you visit, 35% to your... Did a group tour of the country side this morning. Well worth the bikes were in good condition and easy to ride, they had bikes in different sizes as we have a very tall gentlemen and a very short woman and they were able to find bikes very quickly. Good company would recommend them.

I visited Soksabike on my first day in Cambodia as it seemed like a good way to experience lots of different things in one day. They offer a few different tours but I decided to go for the local livelihood half day tour. Before we started the tour we had the free drink from Kinyei Cafe, I opted for the... More

We rent two bicycles on a reasonable price. They were quite new and worked well. The service is just great as the owner got to the shop out of office hours to open it for us and same when we arrived late in a downpour. First choice for renting bikes.

One of the highlights of my time in Battambang, the 'Livelihoods' tour was insightful, enjoyable and so respectfully conducted by my tour guide Makara. As his only guest during the ride (it was the 'low' season') I appreciated his personalised commentary and still remember the Kmer language he insisted I use. It was a great honour to be welcomed into... More
