The Wat was quiet when I got there. It feels more like a Thai temple than a Cambodian temple, probably because of the shiny golden exterior. A good place to take some good pictures as it is located centrally at the Battambang town centre.

Just a quick drop in. Most of it was inaccessible but it was interesting to see the retouching of murals and painting in anticipation of many visitors for New Years. Much the same as other temples but still nice.

I was a little disappointed as the wat was locked so I could not gain access. However the shady gardens was a great place to relax from the hot sun for a while.

if you have a spare hour then by all means pay it a visit but to be honest it is just like so many temples in Cambodia and is a long way of the best of them
