Peaceful place for walking and observing animals guarded in this park. Fishes, swans, ducks and a few more live peacefully within the park and its small lake. Japanese culture is present on every light, bridge, sign and bonsais in the garden center. Perfect for a couple of hours of shooting photos and escaping away from cars and people.

This is a nicely maintained Japanese style garden just a few blocks from Plaza de Armas. It's peaceful, tranquil, and nicely kept. If you are into this kind of thing, it's worth your time. Personally, I would not make it a priority on a visit. We liked it, but it was not a very important part of our visit to... More

This is a nice place to get away from the city and relax for a couple hours and have a lunch. The park is a typical Japanese park with a nice red bridge. The trees and plants are native to Japan. The park is very well maintained. There are some koi fish in the pond and some ducks, swans and... More

the prettiest garden I've seen! it was off season so not crowded at all, beautiful trees and plants, pretty swans and ducks and koi !!! the green and red made a gorgeous scenery. With an entry fee of a 1000 CLP it is a must see.

I've seen nicer Japanese gardens, but this one is very nice too. I feel it is just too large to keep in top condition and has areas that lack balance and beauty. I would think about reducing it to half the size and invest in making it a more rounded experience. In any case, families and visitors will still enjoy... More

This can be a quick, cheap visit a couple hours before leaving! Definitely beautiful. It can also be a great picnic spot since there aren't really restrictions on bringing in food!

A very nice experience. I'm no connoisseur of gardens, let alone of the Japanese variety so purists might not feel the same way, but it was a very relaxing experience. The CL$ 1,000 entrance fee keeps it well-maintained. Not sure it's worth a repeat visit, but I'm glad I went after visiting La Serena many times.

I really enjoyed the Japanese gardens. I took a book & packed a picnic and spent the afternoon in the sun surrounded by beautiful greenery, ducks, & turtles. Certainly worth the 1000 pesos entry fee for me.

If you love plants, need to clear your head, or want to have a romantic walk with your significant other, Jardín del Corazón is a great way to spend your time! I'm assuming it's even more beautiful in the summer months but the bonsai botany was impressive nonetheless

It does not seem to be too well maintained, the water was pretty gross, but it was cool to visit. I liked the multitude of bonsai trees they had in one of the buildings. I'd say it was worth spending an hour to visit.
