Beautiful place to stop and view the majestic scenery and learn the legend of the Inca Princess. Make sure you see the painting up stairs that tells the story.

We found a local agency and hopped on a bus to visit the area. It took like a few hours to get there. The ride is nice enough, and getting up the mountain is cool, as we go through like 30 hairpin turns. The lagoon...More

To see Laguna del Inca surrounded by snow and the Chilean Andes is something to behold. Each and every picture is like a post card.

In the middle of the Chilean Andes close to the Argentinean boarder you can find this amazing place... untouched place. Its like a mirror and when sunshine nice to have beer or coffee on the terrace. A special place, really!

Beautiful lake surrounded by rugged mountains and great photo opportunities. It's a rather long (2 hour drive) from Santiago and there isn’t a huge amount to see, but lunch in the Hotel Portillo is highly recommended.

Part of the experience, try and catch it at sunset! Only one place like this and it is here in Portillo. You will not get the full drama if the lake is frozen and snow covered.
