We were at Huangshan in the beginning of winter, December 5th 2018. Our guide, Mr Thomas Gao, brought us on a hike to the Grand Canyon of Huangshan. Along the way we were really mesmerised by the picturesque mountain ranges and the beautiful pine trees...More

Wonderful place to go if you like mountains and trekking. But it is inaccessible except by foot after you take a cable car. There are no flat surfaces and the trek to the hotels is a very arduous up and down sine wave. Leave your...More

I have great pictures from my time at Huangshan, and not-so-great memories. It is overrun. I know this because I went in November during low season, and it was overrun then. The crowd at my sunrise viewing was twenty deep. Imagine waking up at 5:30am,...More

Visited 5 times and its beauty still stuns me. Cable car and monorail makes a trip easy. I would recommend you to stay on the mountain one night and at spa hotel the last night.

We went at the beginning of winter in Nov. It was definitely a different feel experiencing the beautiful and mystical scenery up in the mountains compared to seeing it in photos. The brown and green colors were not there anymore as the leaves have mostly...More

Don't miss this extraordinary mountain. It's to travel inside a Chinese painting - an absolute wow. You can join an organised tour or buy a ready made package. By far the best is to tailor make your own exploration with a local independent guide. Everyone...More
