We took our five year old on a Monday in June. Even though we went early, it was extremely hot. However, the Dino exhibit was awesome and so was the Africa exhibit. The staff is fantastic.

Birmingham has done a great job with their zoo. I visited several years ago and I was so impressed by the recent updates. I recommend visiting!
