The 2016 season is upon us and this year we are adding a broad collection of daytime historic tours! Churches, the historic city center, a civil rights tour, theaters both here and past, an architecture tour...and of course, in the evenings the ever popular Birmingham Ghost Walk! The historic tours are themed by month and the Ghost Walk will continue to be a broad look at all the dark and hidden history of downtown.

A great way to spend a very pleasant evening in Downtown Birmingham! We enjoyed the history of the buildings, including learning about a famous ghost who lived in the hotel where we were staying! No significant sightings on our tour, but still lots of fun....More

This tour was really fun, kind of spooky, and most definitely worth the $20 per person. Most of the tour, if not all, was wheelchair accessible which is definitely a plus! I would highly recommend the Birmingham Ghost Walk.

You can if you wish, although most of the tour is farely well lit by streetlamps.

How long (or far) is the walk? I'm concerned about my stamina. I've had two hip surgeries recently and hate the thought of "running out of steam" and being left alone in downtown B'ham because I couldn't finish the walk. THAT would be scarier than any ghosts we might encounter! Ha!

The tour guide, Wolfgang uses a cane to walk. The tour is a very comfortable pace with lots of stops and Wolfgang would not leave anyone....he's awesome! Tell him I said hello!
