Davis Cup at Legacy Arena

Excellent concessions. Plenty of choices. Clean restrooms. Plenty of parking. Plenty of hotels and restaurants within walking distance. It was a great choice to host the Davis Cup!

My wife and I love concerts and we like be weekend road trips so we have been to most of the arenas in the southeast US. We went to see a concert at the BJCC Legacy arena in Birmingham. It was by far the worst venue I have been to. It is completely understaffed so if you want something to... More

1st off, this even center is huge!!! The stadium is that of a football arena. The lighting was so high tech and they really know how to put a show on. If your going to a concert here I highly suggest paying the extra 5$ for a legacy club pass, you'll have access to super close bathrooms, which are cleaner... More

Friends and I went to concert, Bon Jovi, which the concert in itself was horrible! But since I'm reviewing the BJ CC I'll stick with that for now. First, on the exterior perimeter of the Civic Center there are very few police officers helping direct traffic or point anyone in the direction of parking or anything! Every other venue I... More

The facility was in good shape and the brewers on display were top notch. I will use the information that I gathered to guide further tasting opportunities as I travel. Thank you for hosting a fantastic event.

We attended the USA vs. Switzerland David Cup at the BJCC last weekend and were quite disappointed that they had no experience handling a tennis event. Indeed, the confusion with the personnel before they opened the doors and started scanning spectators made us feel that they had very little experience scanning spectators as well, This was a three day event,... LAST TIME for this "Ol' rock and roller" to see a musical act at this place, it needs updating, the sound and acoustics are terrible and quite DEAFINING and beer went UP a dollar each of the four times i placed orders, that is $7, $8, $9 and finally $10 for a can or 16 oz. draft, unbelievable...

I would really love to give my city's convention center a better review, but the truth is, we need a NEW facility in Birmingham! Just not updated or modern from someone who has been there too many times to count. The city has tried to update the area with a new hotel and places to eat "Uptown", but unfortunately, this... Excellent venue. Staff friendly and helpful. Food pricey, but no more than typical for type. Like most municipal meeting/entertainment facilities, it's located downtown, lots of traffic.

The city has done a great job of improving this area. There is now lots of places to eat without having to drive away from the center. Great venue for large events.
