Is walk and walk and walk. After booking the cable car you need to walk up flight of steps to the cable station. You then follow the long queue before you embark on the cable. The cable car goes up to and down a valley...More

Need to be fit and not scared of heights, views fantastic and great for people that like hiking. It’s worth it just for the cable car ride and just take the trail to the waterfall. You can also hike about 5km between two cable cars...More

If you're looking to get your hike on, this is it! The eastern-most peak of the Himalayas has several trails--some advertised, some not--to Yudailu, a paved walkway that skirts Cangshan at around 8,000 feet above sea level. The hike up is quite steep, and should...More

With this place, you have to know how to get there and where to go. We had a bad start in the taxi when the taxi driver told us that the cable car (at Zhonghe Temple) is closed for the day but he would take...More

A very high Mountain. We went up and down by cable car, which was a great fun. We stayed up just for 20 mins , which was very enough to see the whole area and go inside the beautiful tiny cave .

Take the rope way from the bottom of the mountain, to the Zhonghe temple. A very nice walk in the forest in the hillside of the mountain. If you walk all the way to the other ropeway it takes about three hours. Don’t buy return...More

Relatively flat path hacked out of the mountainside for some 12 kilometers. Arrive and by funicular from the south. Descent by ski lift from the north. Very popular with Chinese tourists. Crowded at first but it thins out. Nice views. Helpful panels on wildlife and...More

Fantastic cable car directly to the top of Cangshan Mountain. The view is just like in the lost paradise.

I hiked up a very small track between the Xiamatan and Zhonghe cableways which I had found on my map app. Despite being a small, poorly maintained track there was still a station manned with 4 people ready to accept my 40元 for the privilege...More

You might wish to take the cable car from the northern entrance. There are no stairs there and the path is quite level at the top. The southern entrance starts with quite a few steps and only after that is the path level. It... More
