Spent the afternoon at the beach which was lovely. Soft pebbles to sit/lie on, sea was cool and refreshing. A couple of bars to have a drink at or kiosks for food.

The road towards the beach is nice and fun to see all sorts of people. The bech itself is pretty much overhyped and touristic. It's just a peddle beach with a lot of touristic attractions. I recommend going there early in the morning just to...More

We visited on nearly a bi-daily basis during our 11 night stay in Bol. The beach is an awesome natural creation and the shape towards the top moves with the tides. The beach gets very busy when the tour boss come in but due its...More

Solid Beach, but not as impressive as hoped. Beer in the bars is around 30 kuna for 0,5l. But best tip is bringing your own and having on the Beach.

We took a cruise from Makarska to Hvar visiting Jelsa on the way there. BOL zlatni rat is one of the most beautiful beaches to see and the trip there will not leave you disappointed by any means. We loved it and have been twice...More

This beach was on my "to do" list when we planned our travelling around Croatia. The travel sections of the newspapers big this place up and I was keen to see for myself. There is a regular "land train" that you can catch from the...More

Visited here on a couple of occasions during our stay in Bol. The beach is at the end of a shady promenade from Bol town and reached through a wooded area. It is shingle so I do recommend beach shoes as the stones are quite...More

This beach is sort of triangular shape with two different sides. You get to it by walking through the trees. It is gorgeous and very different than anywhere I've ever been. You can rent chairs and umbrellas (or not if you like the sun!) Shoes...More

This short shingle spur (I think the name means ‘White Cape’) is apparently one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region. I’m still not sure why, having walked around it a couple of times during our stay. Other family oriented beaches around the...More

Horrible, noisy tourist trap packed with people. Very crowded, and everything starting from parking (10 euros) is overpriced compared to the normal price level on the island. There are so many nicer places to go on this beautiful island.
