This castle has been beautifully restored with a great deal of historic information. It's off the beaten path but worth a visit. Not crowded like so many other venues.

Real old castel, very nice view, interesting stories, but it isn't enough old furniture, that's my opinion

Unlike Trakoscan, this is a real castle built for protection in the Middle Ages. It is gradually undergoing restoration. The exterior is impressive but much of the interior is still empty. Most of the exhibits do not have explanations in any other language than Croatian.

Everything is laid out nicely in English. They have been working on it for over 20 years. A great place for a wedding just very narrow roads to get there.
