It is a bit like a time warp as the museum looks and smells like something left over from the 1960's - however it is amazing to see how many world leaders came to the island - ranging from Queen Elizabeth to Fidel Castro, Ho...More

Having grown up in N. America during the 60's and 70's, I had heard of Yugoslavia, but like most of the countries in that part of the world, because it was a communist dictatorship, it seemed to belong to a mysterious separate world. I knew...More

It is a well laid out display of Tito's life, in pictures, with English captions. Downstairs are dioramas of stuffed animals he shot or was given. Actually quite boring if you have interest in Tito, but there is not much else to do o nthe...More

A must see place when you visit Brijuni NP. Full of information about the life & history of the NP. Tito's car is also on display outside the museum.

A worth-visiting collection of photographs of Tito during his time on the island reminding us of the relevance on Yugoslavia in the 1970s as the leader of the non-aligned movement.

The museum houses some of the gifted animals that had died and were stuffed including bears, monkeys, lions, tigers and birds. Upstairs is full of photos of Tito with heads of states, a wall full of flags and alot of postcards.

If on Brijuni Island then this is well worth a visit. The exhibits are almost exclusively photographs - except for the car! One half is dedicated to Tito and his domestic life. The more interesting is the record of visitors he attracted to Brijuni. There...More

These photos exhibited here are the testimony of a time and a man that were unique and unheard of. Tito, who ever he was, was a legendary man, I don't think anyone ever had so many visits from so many statesmen and kings and queens...More

There's no point to show pictures without having something to say or to share. The quality of the photos is not even very good. The famous Cadillac was not in the island in May 2017. You cannot call this a museum unless there's not really...More
