This is just a smal lake in Plitvice Lakes National Park and you will experience the wonder of the whole park while getting to this lake. Make it a full day trip into the park and the walking is easy.

I couldn't believe how beautiful this place was! The pictures don't even do it justice. The water is brilliantly clear and the most vivid blue and green and you can see all the way to the bottom and see all the fishes and trees that have fallen in. The waterfalls are breathtaking. We went in may and the weather was... More

Trees that fall are left. Nothing is allowed to be disturbed. It ia a very big body of water and the tourist path goes right by the side of it.

Unlike most of the other lakes in the national park, Gradinsko lake is only a 5 minute hike away from the far end ferry terminal at Entrance 2. It can be reached by entering the park at Entrance 2 and crossing lake Kozjak along the short side. Make sure to take sun glasses and a hat along when visiting in... More

A tranquil area of the park with less tourists. Take your time to enjoy the beauty of nature & the serenity of the turquoise scene

You take a ferry from one point to the other on the Lake. All the while you can soak in the Pristine beauty of the place. The many cascades are a joy to the senses and the boat ride a very enjoyable experience. The upper lakes are a combination of 12 different lakes. This place needs you to set aside... More

The falls on the north end of Gradinsko Lake were are favorite part of Plitvice. That's saying a lot as the entire park is beautiful and full of site after site of gorgeous waterfalls. As you take the small ferry from the 2nd entrance P1 to P2l Yu hit a lagoon like series of cascades that make you think you... More

We arrived in the last hour by the time we got to the national park. Park entrance is free for the last hour. I recommend to stay in a hotel in the park and not far out. You need a car to get to the various places quickly and see the sites parts if your only here for a day.... More

This is a much quieter part of the park and in this section, despite how busy it had been at the lower lakes, we actually had room to stop and take photos which was nice. There's a lot of lake here, you won't find quite as much of the waterfall action, but the lake is so perfect, so clear and... More
