The old town of Poreč is a great place for a casual stroll. I recommend continuting the stroll alongside the beach. There is a great path for walking or cycling that is quite a few kilometers long.

Cobbled streets with little shops; cafes galore; historic buildings and loads of peaceful atmosphere - we loved Porec.

This historic town has loads to offer with bars bistros and shops for everyone. If you get time pop up the round Tower for a coffee or a cocktail or the square Tower for a nice romantic meal with views to die for.

Lovely picturesque town but it took us about an hour of walking to find somewhere that served burgers as all the other restaurant's menus were identical. If your a big foodie, not the place to go.

Nice old town with cobbled streets, plenty of restaurants and shops. Nice harbour and very similar but not as nice in my opinion as Rovinj.

I am travelling to split next September for a weeks holiday and wondered where is the best resort to stay. I don't want anywhere too far from the airport but I like to eat out and go to bars in the evening for a drink. Not too lively but not dead. I also like a beach.

I am staying in Pula for 4 full days and will have a rental car. I have already planned for 2 days in Pula, another day in Rovinj, and 1 day in Porec. Do you think there is enough to do for the 1 day in Porec, or should I spend another day in Rovinj and stop for the morning in Porec on my way to Piran where I will be spending two days. TIA for your input. Lorraine

Personally, having stayed in Porec, I would spend at least a day there. The shopping is good as is the food. Lots of restaurants and things to see.
