Memorable for its large clock tower facade and stunning Gothic architecture, The City Hall - Duke's Palace sits proudly in the main square of the Old Town of Trogir. First built in the 15th century as a symbol of political and economic strength of the city, it was also a residence for the duke. Gothic architectural features include a staircase... More

I thought this clock was just beautiful, especially against the white background of the building. We were there on Sunday, and the city hall wasn't open, but we enjoyed viewing it from the square near the cathedral.

What a magnificent, ancient town square. Solid, beautiful with huge paving stones. A special place in a special old town.

According to the signage this was built on the site of the duke's palace but "thoroughly reconstructed in 1890 incorporating remnants from the Duke's palace." The exterior is fairly plane but the courtyard has some neat features and is worth a visit.

...primarily because there is not much more of interest. The best time to get a decent photo of it is afternoon when the bar parasols have been taken in.

Next to the church with the tower you have the palace and the clock tower. The palace is small and just the interior courtyard is open for visiting for free same for the clock tower.

This iconic clock changes her looks depending on the time of day. Sit in the central square and enjoy her 'changing of her clothes'.

The Rector's Palace is the Town Hall on the Central Square of Trogir. This 15th c building is a fine example of Croatian Renaissance. The pictures seem to add confusion with the Clock Tower, which is part of the City Ledge and not effectively the City Hall.

Has been restored to its former glory and it is a beautiful building. The facade of the building has numerous coats of arms.

I believe he liked arts, carvings and music. Go there out of touristic season and go sit down and enjoy the moment. There is a lot to see, all around you. Choose beginning of the month May, the tourism is not really busy yet and you'll have warmth from the sun for free. The season explodes beginning of June and... More
