Santa Ana is one of the first area of Guayaquil City, a lot of times visited by pirats in the past, also this area of Guayaquil was burned of severl times.30 years ago it was a dirty, dangeroes place. NOW its completly renovated with some historical bulidings and also at the riverside with a nice riverwalk, modern buildings, including a... More

Very interesting and beautiful area. Nice walking area with many shops, restaurants, bars and attractions nearby. Beautiful to walk along the water and many people in the area. Popular with locals and visitors alike.

This one of the newest areas in Guayaquil. It is very clean and safe for a nice stroll, to enjoy the views of the river, and the old town of the city. From here you can have a nice walk all the way to Malecon 2000, and other attractions in the city center.

Not really a 'destination' just a necessary evil having to submit to the brown, dirty river, noisy boats, soot and smog. NOT a place I'd take a boat since that would put my health at risk.

We nice part of the city to take a walk. A few nice restaurants and a local market where you can pick up some souvenirs.

Modern part of Guayaquil where new high rise builings are being made, try walking down the promenade next to the river, where you can appreciate the most amazing views of the Guayas River. Follow the path to las Peñas neighborhood where you will find the birthplace of Guayaquil, bars, jazz clubs, open air art exhibitions, amazing colonial architecture will wait... More

The Santa Ana Port (Puerto Santa Ana) is a nice place to take a peaceful walk during the late afternoon Monday thru Thursday. I was staying the Ramada Inn right across from the Malecon 2000. You could see the Santa Ana Hill from the street outside of my hotel. Santa Ana was only a 15 minute walk away. It is... More

My family and I came here after going to the Artesenal market for the second time (as its at the base of Las Peñas.) It was kind of boring with not much to see. Walk along the boardwalk, there are some plants and park benches. Not much else. No bathrooms in the area, you've got to head back to the... More
