We enjoyed a peaceful walk along the Malcon, however it was during the week. I understand on the weekends it is very busy. Lots of places to sit snd several places for younger children to play. Good for families.

We stayed at one end (near The Point) and never did make it all the way to the other end, sadly. Many restaurants along the way as well as an amusement park.

Perfect for a walk or a jog. Free toilets, and many places to visit. Restaurants, cinema, markets, tivoli, etc. Clean as well!

Nice for a pleasant stroll along the river. It appears well used by local families with plenty of playgrounds and amusements for the kids. We felt very safe, as it is fenced from the nearby busy road, and it is well patrolled by security guards....More

Too many vendors selling fake crap. Safe area due to lots of security. Great rides. Great views. Could use more vendors selling water and other drinks.

We began our walk at the up river terminus at Santa Ana Port. We weren't in any hurry so we stopped frequently to enjoy the gardens and statuary. The abundance of recreational activities for kids was very impressive, also the rides for adults. I'm not...More

Really solid riverwalk with great views up and down the river, little restaurant/beer stands, little parks (kids, Japanese, etc.), vendors of ice cream & street food skewers. It is a must do.

Probably a half-mile long upgraded walk near the river with a lot of security. Some nice restaurants and a pleasant place to "hang-out."

Guayaquil is an interesting place. If you like the beach, the beaches around Olon, about 1 1/2 hours from the city are good surfing beaches. I’m not sure I’d spend 7 days. If you have the means you might consider spending up... More
