Climbing Mount Sinai and watching the sun rise was an incredible experience.
We had a Bedouin guide to help us on the climb up Mount Sinai and he was brilliant, looking out for us all the time (one in our group found the climb very challenging) and encouraging everyone. It’s difficult to judge the required level of fitness but I suggest trying a hilly 7mile/11km walk in your own country to assess whether you can make it – the alternative is a camel ride for all but last 750 steps. It was amazing to see how sure-footed the camels were up and down the trail. You walk up in the dark (torches are provided to see your way) but the guide allows plenty of stops to catch your breath. When you do stop, you should switch off your torch and have a look up at the night sky – the brightness of the stars is quite incredible. There are a series of refreshment huts along the trail where you can also rest. Eventually you make it to the top where it’s very chilly but our guide got us blankets for a few US dollars each which helps keep you warm. Finally, the sun starts to rise and it’s quite an extraordinary sight to experience. Initially the light from the sun, before it starts to rise, lights up the sky which lights up the mountains/landscape around Mount Sinai and then the first speck of the sun appears on the horizon. The sun rises very quickly and within only a few minutes the you can see the full circle of the sun above the horizon and the light changes the colours on the surrounding mountains - it’s quite captivating. After spending some time appreciating the beauty of the landscape you start the trek back down the mountain which is a lot easier than going up! You also have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of Mount Sinai in daylight which you missed on the way up in the dark. At the end of the trek there is an opportunity for a quick visit St Catherine’s monastery although in my opinion it's not the same as the spectacle of watching the sun rise on Mount Sinai. Fortunately, the minibus trip back to Sharm El Sheikh was quicker than the outward journey and we made it for lunch back at the hotel.
Climbing Mount Sinai was never on my list of “things to do” in Egypt and without seeing this excursion on Sinai Excursions website I would have missed this breathtaking experience. I would strongly recommend this trip (noting what I mentioned above about fitness) if you are staying in Sharm El Sheikh and I thank Sinai Excursions for organising the trip. I’ve included a few pictures to try and give an impression of the sun rise but you can’t beat actually being there and experiencing it.
We were initially a bit frustrated with a communication problem with the minibus guide. It would have been helpful to know why we were waiting and likely length of time waiting but it didn't detract from the wonderful experience of Mount Sinai itself.

We used Sinai Excursions for our airport transfer & 2 excursions .
We did the Sharm City tour, which was amazing, a private tour visiting mosques, a Catholic Church, the old market & Soho square. The tour was at our pace and bespoke. It was fabulous.
Secondly we did the Ras Mohammed and White Island by boat, again breathtaking. One of us was not a strong swimmer so we hired a life jacket & the 2 of us had a swim guide who took us in the water & was pointing out all the marine life while we snorkelled. If you haven’t see the marine life of Ras Mohammed, you absolutely must.
White Island was also beautiful and a great final stop off for the day.
Last day we were collected from the hotel and taken safely to the airport for your flight home.
I, personally have been using Sinai for 10 years here in Sharm & Hurghada, and I would never travel to Egypt without using them at some point within my trip.
Thank you to everyone involved in making another holiday 100% stress free.

Well, what can I say? After years of not being able to return to Sharm we book our first holiday for July this year. As usual for both Sham and Hurghada, we booked private transfer for arrival and return and couldn’t fault the service. Driver was kind and considerate and waited for us even though we were delayed.
We also booked a private boat charter with Sinai Excursions. The whole boat just for the 7 of us. Ras Mohammed and White Island. Lunch and soft drinks included. The snorkel guide was amazing and felt safe at all times and even did try dives on board for those who were interested.
Thank you once again Sinai….perfect in every aspect!

Wonderful boat trip to Paradise Island. We were collected from our hotel for a private transfer to the dock before setting off to the island. We had a guide, Eslem Elhedy, who looked after us brilliantly - nothing was too much trouble for him! We had a couple of hours at Paradise Island which was idyllic - exactly as you would imagine the perfect beach to be… We enjoyed cocktails (payable locally) and a dip in the sea before lunch on the boat. The two snorkelling stops were fun - there was a group for advanced and beginners with boat staff in the water to help throughout. There is also the option to just swim or stay on the boat as well. This was a full day trip and excellent value for money as well as being thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable. A fantastic day.

Wow...an unforgettable, amazing and well organised excursion to Ras Mohammad.
This was our first visit to Sharm el sheikh and have always booked all our excursions and airport transfers through Sinai Excursions previously when in Hurghada.
From the outset of our trip we were given a full itinerary of the days events " Micky" and his team were professional throughout.
On arrival to Ras Mohammad we reached a quiet area of the beach where we were shown how to wear our buoyancy aids and flippers correctly in the sea, Micky was constantly reassuring and kept an eye on us at all times, as novices to snorkeling our fears were put to bed quickly, we were off... what an experience, such beautiful colourful coral surrounded by unforgettable views of a brightly coloured aquarium.
We will never forget this, its a must do and so thankful to the Sinai team for making our holiday perfect.

Mount Sinai has been a place we wanted to visit for some time. This year we finally made it. We chose the agency to go with from Facebook, there we also kept in touch, any question we had we got the answer very quickly. The departure and departure time was respected, the guide was wonderful. He told us a lot about Mount Sinai and St Catherine's Monastery which we visited. The way up the mountain is with a local guide, a wonderful guy too . Although the route is 7 km and takes about 3 hours, it is beautiful at night and when you reach your destination the sunrise makes you forget everything. I highly recommend Sinai Excursions agency.

Great day overall at Ras Mohammad-White Island, we had a brilliant boat. Lots of waiting around mind you and I think there was a mix up with who was supposed to be on the boat, so we departed quite late. Our lunch was then late, instead of 12 noon, we had food nearly 3pm so everyone was starving, snorkelling stops were a bit choppy, we had 3, but some amazing fish was to be seen. The lunch was nice when it was served, crew were friendly and the scenery amazing. Good value too.

We had previously used Sinai Excursions in Hurghada but this was our first trip to Sharm and selected Sinai Excursions again based on previous experience and we were not disappointed. We wanted a morning tour to see Sharm in daylight and to fit in with our other plans. Our tour guide was brilliant, taking us around some of the main sights and explaining some of the history and context of Sharm. He also took us to a place which served us traditional tea and provided what is traditionally eaten at breakfast. It was a very enjoyable and informative tour. Hopefully we’ll be returning to Sharm another time and plan to repeat the tour but do during the evening with Sinai Excursions. I would highly recommend Sinai Excursions for their trips and tours.

Great company!!
Valley of the kings private tour with Sinai excursions.
Yesterday we did a private trip to valley of the kings and WOW what an amazing experience. It was surreal walking amongst ancient Egyptian history which dates back 3,384 yrs
We got picked up at 5.10am in a private car and taking to luxor airport, the process was very smooth to get us to luxor and we had a tour guide Abdul waiting on the other side.
Abdul *amazing* spent the day with us taking us to various different temples, valley of the kings and for lunch on the nile. He was the best guide I have ever experienced. His knowledge is impeccable. He was such a lovely person too and thank you Hassan our driver.
We were dropped at the Airport at 4.30pm and caught an 8.30pm flight back to sharm.. I think there was a slight delay.
We were again immediately greeted by another driver who brought us back to hotel.
The private tour is a must in our opinion, it's much more personal - you can tailor the guide to yourself and add in extra stops.
A few pictures I chose from the million I took ❤️

Excellent company. I book our Egyptian trips with them from start to finish We only ever use Sinai excursions for anything in Sharm or Hurghada. We've had wonderful trips and can particularly recommend the VIP tours that they do particularly Cairo and Luxor. Love the service and quality. Nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend Nicola, Sarah and the rest of their excellent team.

Good morning,
How much is parasailing for two people,
And where is it located in sharm?
Thanks.
Written 18 February 2019
Each hotel in sharm provides parasailing, and it should not exceed 10$ per person.
