An ancient amphitheater quite well preserved. We were there during the day and it was rather empty. No shows ;-) I have seen many larger and better located objects of this type, so this one did not impress me much.

Just below the fort this theatre offers some nice views across the lake and would have been spectacular in its day. Today it's a bit tired and needs some tlc. Some conservation work has obviously been undertaken but like most other places we have visited...More

It’s not amazing, and far from something which has to be seen, but it’s still nice to stand in the middle of the amphitheater and imagine what history has seen here. We took thirty minutes or so out to just sit in the ancient stand...More

Only go see if it's on your way to somewhere else. It's a Helenistic amphitheater that has been majorly rebuilt rather than restored. The stage could do with a bit of TLC, I have no idea how people don't break a leg on that floor...More

This is the only extant amphitheater in the area. It is between a number of sights in Ohrid when you're touring on foot, and is worth a quick visit as a result. There is no signage. The standing amphitheater is partial and part of what...More

Not greatly signposted we kinda fell into it's path, lovely bit of history and we were treated to an off the cuff performance by one of the singing troups who were in town for the folklore singing and dancing festival, would definitely recommend for one...More

Yes it is easy to get to and not far from the main street, but there is nothing really here to see, plus there can be drunk men talking very loud

This is on the road uphill to the fortress, and worth a stop. The seating is cool and the acoustics still work. I'd love to go to a concert there!

At the heart of the old town, you can visit this theatre with stage for Ohrid culture summer. A sweet part of architecture at the pedestrian road around the old town!
