Super visibility, large grouper and one of the highlights - watching massive hog fish eat little eels in the sand - they were digging them up and then munching away. Was a great dive.

We had enough time down there to investigate in and around. Will say that you should try to be in front when penetrating, else you get lots of kicked up debris deleting your vision

This Wreck is awesome! There is tons of sea life around the Aquila! Sitting down at about 100', the Aquila has some of the largest Groupers that follow you around!! They will literally come up and let you pet them like a cat! And... don't...More

A very cool wreck dive at 106 feet on a sandy bottom surrounded by pristine coral and abundant schooling fish. Gorgeous!

The dive is deep- 100+ feet, not lots to see, you can swim inside the wreck, its a long boat ride from Turquoise Bay Resort

Not a bad dive if you like wreck dives. Roatan has so many other dives that are spectacular that the El Aquila is just okay in my opinion.

I made one dive on this wreck and the deepest I went during the dive was 113 feet. The visibility was good and there were some very friendly groupers around the wreck, too. I was surprised at how large the wreck was as well.

Fun dive! The groupers are like dogs! actually have to push them away. And keep them from being to harassing to smaller people. They got a little too interested in our youngest diver.
