Location is good ....basically a back water plantation / jungle , in winters some migratory birds do visit the surroundings , but in comparison with Kumarokom is it a hopeless place. Do not visit

The bird sanctuary is on an island off Raibunder. The best option is to get dropped at Raibunder jetty and take a ferry to the island. It costs Rs.10 one way. The best way is to take a boat the island to visit the sanctuary... More

It was not me who referred to a "bomb" cost. I'm not sure what that's about. We had a driver that day so we did not have to take a bus. The ferry is free and the sanctuary is on the left immediately after you disembark.
