Very charming, take a scooty and discover every lane, by lane, stop for bebinca at old goan bakeries. Old Goa is beautifullu adorned with churches, rich in its history. Must visit places include Church of St. Francis of Assisi, Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, Church of Saint John of God etc.

Really enjoyed our visit to Old Goa. Fascinating history and wonderful Portuguese architecture! We particularly enjoyed Basilica of Bom Jesus, Church of St Francis of Assisi, Se Cathedral, Church of Saint Cajetao and the ruins of Church of St Augustine.

Its a big church and really beautiful. Great art and you should be wearing proper dress to enter inside the church I.e. below the knees and covered from top or else it's not allowed to enter.

The real taste of culture, from Goan to Portugal, under one area, that is Old Goa. The heritage houses and buildings, those colourful Goan houses, The road passing by the River Mandovi is marvelous ride. Away from the beaches but nearer to Goa, the real one.

So amazing to be around Goa's unique Catholic history. You'll forget for a second that you are in India as Old Goa takes you back to Portuguese influences in South Asia.
