Very well maintained and curated by the Govt. Visit requires a bit of walking, but its quite enjoyable. Rainy season is the best time to see the lush foliage around this place. Most important is that you can hire this full fort for any function like a wedding , conference etc. Perfect location for an event. highly recommended for a... More

Totally restored and easily better than Forts Aguada and Chopora. A lot more to see from the battlements and wandering around, nice history of the fort and restoration. Well laid out info boards. its a pity the other forts in Goa don't learn from it. If your infirmed a bus will take you 70 yds uphill over a cobbled road... More

This fort is quite good. Situated on a rock with great view on Panjim and the Arabian Sea. The fort is very well conserved. It is reconstructed/ renewed few years back. It is nice climb but the view is magnificent. Although small scale we would recommend this fort above the tourist disappointment of Aguada fort. A must see

Nice, well-maintained fort with cannons looking over the balustrades. Breathtaking view from the top, and because it is not on the regular tourist map, it is not crowded at all and you can enjoy the fort at a leisurely pace....
