It was while roaming around in Old Goa that this church suddenly came into view on a hilltop. Our first sighting of this chapel upon turning a corner was simply a case of love at first sight. Go and you will find out why. The fact that it was secluded added to its charm. Much less touristy that the Bascilica... More

I actually walked from the center of Old Goa, and while I don't recommend this for everyone, if you're in shape and the weather permits, it's quite a nice hike. All uphill on the way there, and when you turn the corner and see the wide steps leading up to the church (OMG another 150 meters up.....) you then realize... More

So glad our guide started our tour at this venue - he explained how Bollywood make a lot of films here. The views are truly terrific - 360 degrees worth of views. We didn't go in the chapel itself so don't know what it is like inside. However loved the architecture from the outside

The church is not in the regular bunch of other churches and little far from the group but it has comparatively less crowd and a greater serenic view. Covered with greenery it's one of the oldest churches in old Goa with a beautiful architecture, one should pay a visit here.

The church was closed when I visited. But oh, what a view! The best way to get there is by two-wheeler or car. Walking from the main road is not recommended; it is a longish and uphill walk. The motorable road is also narrow, stony and steep.

Was recommended by the local cab driver to visit this church. But unfortunately the church was closed and to our surprise a Kannada movie song was being shot at this venue when we visited. Holy places like these should be refrained from shooting.

Church is now preserved for posterity. Main thing is the view that is offered from the church. It is located at a higher altitude and gives the best view of Goa. Highly recommended to go during sunset and believe me it will be one of the best sunset of your lifetime. Not to forget that photographers will have plenty to... More

Its a good chapel, pretty old and not really a must see. If you have the time , you may want to visit. Falls a bit out of the way for a normal tour and needs special request to the tour guide to take you to this chapel as its not part of the deal. A peaceful atmosphere and ideal... More
