White Rann visit in the night is just mesmerizing experience especially in the full moon days when the light of moon is to the fullest & flashes on the White Rann, the whole empty vast land is enlightened by both the white elements, and yes both of mother nature indeed. It truly of International class due its uniqueness. Recently it... More

We had heard of White Desert, had missed an opportunity to be there but when finally we got an opportunity to be there it was a wonderful experience. It is indeed an out of the world experience and it is really a wonder of the nature. Kilometres of white desert, a lovely sight, an excellent place to see the setting... More

It is one of the rare natural beauty one must visit. We visited this rare place on Feb.10th, a full moon night. Sun set was stunning, difficult to explain in words, one must see it to believe it. Moon (on a full night) and it's falling light and reflection on the white salt was mesmerizing.

We stayed in Bhuj and took a daytrip to the White Desert - what an experience! The sheer size of it is mesmerising! We found ourselves the only non-Indian tourists and as a result were the stars of many a photograph. We visited whilst Rann Ustav was on, so there were lots of other things to do and lots of... The Great White Rann, is one of the rare natural phenomenons in the world where due to geological changes, the ocean receded leaving a salt desert. Nov- Feb is the best time to visit, since Kutch gets hot during summer ( 40 degrees +) . If you are visiting the White Rann, please after 5pm. There are no trees/ electricity... More

What a place this is, really it’s out of the world. One must see it to believe it. Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb are the best month to visit. Rann festival by Gujrat tourism is celebrated from Nov till Feb (which experiences 4 full moons in these 4 months) and the temperature is cool too. I read a lot of... More

The white rann is a beautiful place. Do make it to the far end of the road where there is the watch tower. This is the most beautiful part of the rann. The tower is supposed to be designed like a salt crystal. If you have your own vehicle, do procure a pass from BSF check-post. They charge Rs 100... More
