This all-white temple is of relatively recent construction and its young age shows it all. It certainly doesn't have the charm of the old but it still has its own reason. The interior is accessed by climbing a short staircase. Tonight around seven there were a small number of faithful waiting for the opening of the main door scheduled for eight.

A unique temple of Bhagwan Swami Narayan. Made of marble and beautifully carved marble pillars and roofs. Very Pious place & one must begin the trip of Kutch by visiting the temple first.

Nice and beautiful sculpture. Very reach with art and architect. Make sure you have at least 1 hr in your hand to visit swami narayan temple. Best sightseeing place in bhuj city. You must visit a museum (free) inside the temple. Its interesting!

The Swaminarayan Temple was constructed by Swaminarayan himself, founder of Swaminarayan Sampraday almost 200 years ago. The temple is built in white marble and is dedicated to God Narnarayan Dev incarnation of Lord Vishnu. A nice religious place of Bhuj.

Check with the hotel you stay on the Darshan timings. We had to wait for an hour for the temple to open as we weren't aware of Darshan timings.

I just visited and was mesmerized by the architecture of the temple. It is said that almost 100 Crore Indian Rupee was spent to build this place. The Dome and inner gates of Gods are made of real Gold.
But the thing that takes your breath away is the Cravings done in stones that builds the temple. It has a Huge parking place inside and a number of sitting areas to sit and feel the divinity of the temple.
Also if possible i would recommend to visit this place during the aarti time like all other temples this one also has its own charm during it.
Also something new I saw in this temple is, the place were all the shrines are kept, the back of it is been decorated in various different. Like for example I went on 14th Feb so that day it was decorated with red balloons and red heart shaped soft toys.
The decoration was not too much.. just a tint, so that it still maintains the decorum of the temple and doesn't turn cheap like some BABAs around India..
I definitely recommend to keep this in your plan if you are visiting Kutch
