Uperkot Fort is free to enter and has lots of interesting areas to explore including a mosque, step wells, temples, cannons and dusty gardens. There are great views across to Girnar Hill and places to sit and relax though you're likely to spend a lot of time chatting to friendly locals and having your picture taken - all good fun.... More

The fort is popular so you are unlikely to have the place to yourself but it does provide a shady respite from the heat & noise of the city. Great views across Junagadh as well as over to Girnar Hill. Highly recommended.

Must visit when you visit Junagadh to see how brilliant old world people were... You can see turbines, adi kadi vav etc. Also can spot old Cannons from Turkey (the largest cannon I have ever seen) on Uparkot ..

Nice fort complex. Old Mosque is marvelous. Aesthetic. Less crowded. From here you can see Girnar temple as well as entire Junagadh. Nice view

Nice place if you are in Junagadh, Gujarat, must visit and relax at a point where you hills. Have a cup of tea at this place inside Caves. Its very small fort you can actually complete the entire site seeing in maximum 1 hour with photos. Attraction wise there is nothing you can expect from here, everything is gone for... More

We can reach here with 10 min from the station by auto. It cost Rs.40 - 60. I recommend to see stepwells. When I visited here, there are many students but generally comfortable for sightseeing.
