We hired a scooter and enjoyed our road trip through the tea plantations. We take stop where ever we found the place scenic. The roads have sharp bends but if you have good riding skills then you will definitely enjoy the ride and the nature around you.

Tea gardens can be found right by the side of the road while travelling east from Munnar. They look glittery and beautiful under sunshine. Some tea gardens charge a nominal price for entry and pictures. You are free to roam around and take pictures, but refrain from plucking any leaves - it's business and livelihood for them!

we visited the Harrison Malayalam tea gardens. My wife was quite excited and thrilled to be amidst the lovely tea gardens, fresh fragrance of the tea leaves and some very good photo opportunities in the hills and tea gardens. made her day.

Munnar has lot of tea gardens and it's very beautiful to see the hills covered with tea plantation, which looks like as if there is a green carpet on the hills. Most of the gardens also provide tea factory visit and you can buy tea from there.
