Scenic gardens

The main attraction of Munnar. The gardens look very symmetric, provide mesmerizing view and nice background for portrait & selfie.

We were driven to the tea plantation in Jeeps. When you get into the plantation, you wonder how the pickers manage to pick the leaves. the trees grow on the sides of the mountains. The women pick the leaves mainly by hand and put them into small sacks and they then transfer these into larger sacks, which are carried on... More

A scenic beauty. A pair of comfortable walking shoes and a bag to pick up the waste after a picnic is a must. Please don't spoil such a beautiful place.

Munnar is my fav hill station in south India. Went Kerala with my friends in Aug 2013 and it still continues to be one of the best trips of my life. The views are amazing. Stop as many places you like. The view is great. We drove the road and cant took our eyes off the beauty. A must visit... More

The tea plantation here is beautiful. Like masterpieces of patched artwork. So green and stunning esp. against the blue sky. Should visit from mid morning to afternoon. Else, certain parts Part be misty.

Simply beautiful. Lush green carpeting of the hills. Must visit at least once in a lifetime. Preferably in morning. Mostly tea gardens are out of bounds for tourists. But looking at them from roadside is a treat in itself.

A really one of a kind experience roaming around tea gardens surrounding these hills, not that crowded as I expected (visited Feb, 2017)!
