We watched Kathakali show here. Nice experience. Book a seat in front rows, so that you can see expressions on artist's face. Also, make bookings in advance. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

The tickets are premium, executive, and balcony. Don't buy premium as it's a waste as view from executive is fine. I watched their kathakali performance.... More

If you ever visit Munnar, this place is a must go. Located at a peaceful downhill, the kalarikshethra offers a range of kathakali and kalari performances at a very reasonable entryfee. The artists are incredibly talented and give us a good show of nearly impossible stunts. If you are interested in history and traditions please visit!

We were delighted to have a chance to see and experience the traditional art forms of kerala like kathakali and kalaripayate. The martial artists were very flexible and the effort that they put in to bring up a good show is very appreciable. A must visit spot if coming to munnar
