Trekking through Chinnar forest area is all alone a different adventurous experience. There was slight raining still we the group of 16 friends enjoyed our level best. Climate was too chilling.

Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, located in the rain shadow vegetation of Western Ghats, is a popular destination among the tourists visiting the hill station of Munnar. Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary is at a distance of about 60 km from Munnar town, on the Munnar-Udumalpet road.

The chinnar wildlife sanctuary is good place for seeing. This place is more comfortable on the rainy day. We are so enjoyed on there such a very awesome place.

This place looks calm but has millions of animals in it. Take a night-safari trip from the local people near Marayoor and you can spot some beautiful wild animals.

From munnar,we hired ajeep to reach Chinnar Wildlife sanctuary and it was 55 kms away from there.Jeep ride to Chinnar was really memorable with dozen of beautiful memories.

As I remember, the road is narrow and wiggly, don't remember it as any more bumpy that other India country roads.
