- Deolali is a major artillery centre in India and was also a R&R (Rest & Recuperation) base during WW-II - Being a military area, the town is neat, clean and beautiful - Weather is great in winter and monsoon

I have visited with my family to farms Santorini there. This place is under Army officer of our county. There is too much of cleanliness her where I have never seen and lots of greenery. Just 4 hours to reach there from mumbai.

Decent Service. Excellent Food. Very Affordable. Also suitable for large groups. It has beautiful Jain temples, booking office opens at 08:30 AM. On the spot booking is easily available. Deolali is a very old cantonment. it is the training ground for the gunners from ages. With small market and quite Military area which has not changed for a long time. It also used to be sanatorium town of India with huge sanatorium. Off late they are being replaced with high rise an d multi story flats. Little crowded now... More

I tried out the burger and various other fast food items on What's cooking Fast Food restaurant in Deolali Camp market. The burgers were very tasty. The quality of the burger bun was very good. A very old cantonment located near Nashik. Weather is very pleasant here and pollution free. A small town which meets almost all requirements for a family

One of the most relaxed place near Nasik city. It has colonial charm and why not as it is an Army Cantonment, Clean with fresh air and lots of open spaces.It's a shoppers paradise especially for clothing and foreign goods. This is a good outing spot near Nashik, Its a army cantonment area, good location , good climate and open air experience. Only suitable time to visit is in the evenings , especially on Saturday evening the army team has a Musical parade. Enjoy.....
