Winters are the best time to visit this place, enjoy the beauty at night and eat langar. The place outside the temple has been remodeled. So, don't be lost if you feel as if you are in a different country.

We saw the kitchens where they cook free meals for the poor, 35,000 meals daily and at festivals more than this. This is the golden temple that we know of. The holiest place for the sikh community and a popular tourist attraction due to it being covered in 750kg of gold.
