This was the best and most unexpected thing that we did on our whole trip to India. Our time in India's nature was a day away from the hustle and bustle of the cities of India. The quiet and beauty of the forest was so unexpected. But the most engaging part of the experience was not just the environment and... More

lMy daughter and I went on a cave painting tour with Mr Kukki Sr. and we also went on a Bundi palace and city tour with Mr Kukki Jr. These two tours were positively the highlight of our stay in Bundi!! Both Mr. Kukki Sr (Om Prakash) and Mr. Kukki Jr. (Ashwini) are great guides. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly,... More

Had a fabulous day touring the Bundi area with Kukki, a local archeologist who has extensive knowledge of the town and fort along with the 100+ step wells he knows about in town. A real highlight was the trip out to see the ancient rock paintings he has discovered and maintained - great to see plus you get a unique... More

I've been on many different tours in many different countries, but I would have to say that my tour of Bundi with Kukki junior has been the best! Mine was not a tour of the cave paintings as Kukki's world is known for, but a personalised tour of the Bundi palace, the township and the baori stepwells. Kukki junior takes... More

We spent an enjoyable day with Kukki Jr. in the countryside outside of Bundi. He has a compelling story of how his father discovered cave paintings, and his enthusiasm is contagious. A refreshing change after seeing so many forts! He has a good eye for birds, and we stopped along the way to view them. Bring good shoes, the hike... More

What a wonderful experience we had! Just go with Kukki junior and explore one of the most interesting things India's history has to offer. Kukki is definitely the best guide. He is helpful and cheerful and also a gifted storyteller. India's heritage that Kukki's father discovered comes alive when he explains the meaning of the cave paintings. So don't hesitate,... More

Mr Omprakash Sharma "Kukki" is one of the most amazing men I have ever met. His knowledge about and single minded devotion to prehistoric cave paintings around Bundi is limitless. He is passionate about his favourite subject even though he has had no formal education. His son Ashwini shares the same passion.

I spent two days in Bundi with Kukki and Kukki Jr. during a two-week road trip across Rajasthan. It was a memorable and authentic experience far off the typical tourist path. I HIGHLY recommend this experience! Both father and son are enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides. They make you feel at home and welcome; I even met the newest member of... More

Had a fabulous day-long trip with Kukki Junior and two others. Wear sensible shoes and bring a hat and sunscreen and lots of water as you do walk a good bit at one point and it might be hot, hot hot! We saw various bird species, the cave paintings, an amazing waterfall, local villages, a temple, camels, monkeys and Kukki... More

My husband and I went on Kukki's tour of the waterfall and caves. The beautiful waterfall is amazing and reminded us of the Kimberleys in WA. Although I couldn't climb down the steep rock to view the ancient prehistoric paintings (we are in our 70's) my husband did, and he did a video for me. Kukki brother is very knowledgeable... More
