Situated near next to a Hindu temple and the royal pyre platforms this towels celebrate victory. The views over the town and at sunset are world class. Watch out for the monkeys who's favourite game is to "borrow" items from visitors.

Known as the Tower of Fame or the Victory Tower, this construction of Jain architecture from centuries ago is within the Chittargarh Fort grounds and well worth a visit. You can go up into the tower for a spectacular view across Chittorgarh, but it's not for the faint-hearted or those who suffer claustrophobia, as it's a narrow dark spiral staircase.

To begin, kingdoms of Mewar and Marwar ( southern Rajasthan) adopted Jainism as state religion. Kirti Stambha aka Tower of Glory is a relatively new structure in the Chittaurgarh Fort complex, built to boast the game of Jainism. It is decorated with beautiful and intricate carvings, and towers there fort along with the tower is victory

Its a tower true to its name. Kirti or fame. Built to celebrate victory it still stands tall in full glamour.
