The Ayutthaya tour by bus was lovely. It had the proper leadership on the guide.
Although his English was questionable at best. He was knowledgeable.
But wasn't able to understand what.he was saying.
But we got to visit.Ayuttaya in all its grandeur
After being done with Ayutthaya, we decided to.take a lunch cruise.back to Bangkok. Let.me tell you., the food.was quite unexpected and flavorful. The mussaman curry was one of the best I have had.
The chicken breat was moist and tasty, the beef stirfry.was.good.
The pad thai a bit too sweet and the shrimp in a sweet chili sauce. The tom youm.koong was outstanding and the corn soup, was brilliant.
Chef LUNGNAPA deserves a very special mention.
Her food was on point and was better.than.some of the Thai food I had in Phuket,.and in Bangkok. The

We had a great cyclingtour throughout Ayutthaya with Boong. She was very enthusiastic, spoke good English and gave very interesting information/comments about Ayutthaya and its history. Money well spent!

We booked the "Ayutthya by rail, Road and River" with Ayutthaya Boat & Travel as it seemed like the most interesting option to see Ayutthaya - and it was.
Our guide (Boong) met us at the train station in Bangkok to accompany us on a scenic train trip to Ayutthaya. Boong was friendly, spoke very good English, knowledgeable about Ayutthaya and Thailand generally and had a great sense of humor.
We were met in Ayutthaya by a tuktuk to take us to the bike shop and then were taken on an easy bike ride around Ayutthaya's main historical sites. Along the way we stopped for refreshments and snacks (included in the price), one stop to look at local handicrafts and then provided a fantastic Thai lunch 9also included in the price) looking out to the river. Then we had a long boat ride along the main rivers circling Ayutthaya and then taken back to the train station for the return trip to Bangkok. All in all a great day and far better than a sanitised airconditioned bus trip from Bangkok. We are in out 60s and it was easy to do the bike ride etc.

I could not have asked for a better bike & boat tour around Ayutthaya. Boong was so informative & helpful with our group & made us feel like family! We biked around to all the major temples & had fun & informative stops along the way. I can’t recommend this experience enough :)

We did the afternoon Bike tour and the Boat Cruise in the evening. Everything was just perfect, from the organisation, the places we visited and the historical information we received. Boong was one of the friendliest tourguide we‘ve met during our journey in south-east Asia so far. She kept us well entertained, informed about the history, surprised us with little extras here and there and even gave us plenty of tips for our further journey. Genereally, we can only recommend seeing the temples with a guide instead of going alone and the bikes were a nice possibilty to get around in the ancient town. Thank you once more for an unforgettable day, Boong!

The half day tour on Bike is an excellent way to explore the city's most important sights and get a good historical background. Definitely better than visiting the historical sights alone and read infos from tables. I can highly recommend the tour guide Bung. She kept the tour very entertaining and helped organizing the rest of my stay in Ayutthaya.

We did the family cycle and boat trip. The guide boong was absolutely wonderful. My boys are very active and quite mischievous and at one point my youngest accidentally ran into a very unclean lake near a temple. She handled it beautifully and kept the kids excited through the ride, temple visits and boat trip. My boys loved her so much. The dinner was also excellent with variety and a good mix of Thai food and kid foods like French fries. Would definitely recommend to anyone with small children.

We did this tour on the 5th of Feb and it was a great way to fit everything we wanted to see in - if we had done a full day of Ayutthaya i feel it might have been a bit 'templed out' by the end of it. Party sizes were small, we were a group of three and had one other bloke join us, which was great. One is a great guide and also helped us negotiate prices, and bought us different snacks and fruit to try.
Note that the floating market itself is a bit touristy (as one would expect) and you don't actually get to float around buying stuff from vendors (there aren't that many vendors to begin with).

Hi, how do we book this trip, and how much is the cost involved? Is there an itinerary for us to browse through?
Thanks.

The boat normally travels around Ayutthaya city which is like an island. If you have the city map, you can see how the boat will travels through.

Hi! Is it possible to do the sunset tour as a day trip and travel back to Bangkok that same night? Or do you recommend staying in Ayutthaya for the night?

I would just like to know how much do I have to pay for the rent of a bike for a day and does it include safety gears such as helmet as well?

If you do a tour the bike is provide as well as safety gear, otherwise most guest houses have bikes and there are several places you can rent bikes near the ferry.

I would like to know how the tour covers and cost. It's not one of those rush one's where you don't get time to take everything in.and can I book on line on there web site. Thanks.

My wife and I did the tour a few months ago. You have plenty of time and are never rushed during the tour. The guide even gives you extra time to explore and look around each site and take photos. You can book it on line just search Ayuttahaya Boat & Travel.

We are a family of four, is there a larger room option to accommodate all of us, instead of renting two separate rooms?

Hello
Do all the rooms have moustiquaires and if no ,which one ?
Which rooms are situated near the sea and no on the other side of the road ?
And which kind of rooms do we have to reserve for 5 persons with an adolescent of 6 years and 4 adults ?
Thank you
Mama

Hello,
I will be staying in Ayutthaya for 3 days and I like to take a boat tour. Can you give me some info on how long the tour is, how much it costs for 1 person, and how I can find you. Also, do you have a tour that goes to Bang Pa palace? I cannot join a bicycle tour.
Please, send me your address .
Thank you
