Don’t be fooled by the modern facade, this temple was built in 1324 AD. Was also visited by the famous chinese admiral Zheng He some years later. The gigantic golden buddha is imposing. Also a functioning temple for locals and tourists

Although not in the group of 6 temples people normally visit, this one does provide a nice photo opportunity with its large gold (bronze) Buddha image.

After visiting all the ancient and historic Wats, this is a modern Wat with a very big Buddha Apparently the Buddha was made in the late 1300s before the founding of Ayutthaya

The monastery in on the bank of Chaopraya river. There is a giant buddha in the monastery which is over 600 years old. The scenery is worth your visit.

Big Gold Buddha in a box like room .Last time i visited here you were not allowed in this room ....But today we were , and wow its huge . Well worth a visit .

I have visited numerous temples the past few years, but this one is especially remarkable. The immense golden Buddha dominates but you will also see historic items throughout the beautiful temple.
