Visited Elephantstay in February 2017, what an amazing experience this was. The Elephants were treated amazingly, not once did I see any harm to any of the Elephants actually it was quite the opposite! The elephants were treated fantastic. We spent all day with the Elephants, feeding them, cleaning the area that they were during the day, cleaning / washing... More

A good experience, despite our initial skepticism. Definitely worth a short visit to see, touch, and learn about Thailand’s most famous animal with a reasonably clean conscience. Look, elephants in Thailand are going to be controversial among farang (foreigners). We decided against any of the “elephant experience” camps or programs; we didn’t want to ride them, but did want to... More

This was an amazing experience and the best thing I have ever done. I tagged along with my daughter who loves elephants and has been a strict vegetarian since age 8 so has 'views' on animal welfare. She too loved it, especially as her understanding grew. We learnt so much about caring for elephants, rehabilitating dangerous and killer elephants and... More

I am an elephant professional from the US. My close friend and I made the trip to Thailand and we couldn't be happier that we did. We spent 3 days and 2 nights at the village. This is a once in a lifetime experience to live beside literally "tons" of Asian Elephants. The animals are well cared for and seem... More

Staying at Elephantstay for 7 days was a fantastic experience. This is a terrific way to learn about working elephants in Asia and gain direct experience with elephants. Elephantstay is a working elephant village and foundation for the conservation of Asian elephants. Staying there means doing work with plenty of opportunity to get up close and personal with your adopted... More

My family - parents and children 12 and 7 came to the Elephant Stay in June. What a wonderful and amazing experience! I stepped out of the taxi to be greeted by Tina and Kami, the 4 month old elephants ready to nudge or push me around! Elise, a WONDERFUL staff member jumped right in with the fun, getting us... Stayed at Elephantstay for one week. We fed, bathe, rode and cleaned up after elephants. The food was wonderful. Accommodations air conditioned cabins with an attached bath. We had hands on experience working with all aspects of elephants including riding them bareback in the river. A highlight was the show do in the village on Saturdays. It is great for... More

What is the most important things when you go for an elephants trip, is the nature that you see around you this makes the difference. Very highly recommend

While visiting the Ayutthaya Elephant Palace & Royal Kraal I saw that they had a program to live and llearn about these beautiful elephant babies and adults. On my next visit I'm going to look into staying and doing the program.

I had heard about this place and hired a bike to go and see it. It is a little way out of town but when you get there it is really low key and they had the cutest baby elephants. MUST SEE
