45 mins north of Bangkok, 100 Baht/person for admission, but lots of beautiful structures to see! We went on a Monday morning (to avoid crowds), and were able to take great family pictures! Beware of clothing restrictions, and security were very strict on this rule....More

We were shown around by a tour guide who explained the history of the Palace, what the purpose of the various buildings were and why the garden was arranged in that manner. It was all very interesting. You really need a guide to explain all...More

This is a large place to cover. There are several places where the royalties would stay and gave audience to the public. Even if you are not impressed with the architecture, I would recommend it for the gardens and the matured trees, especially bougainvillea.

We did the day trip and return river cruise from bangkok. Far too little time at the palace. It was a nice site to visit but not a highlight. Gardens were more interesting than buildings. Guide was too repetitive and hard to understand.

This place, around one hour from Bangkok if you drive at the right time, has been dubbed "Le petit Versailles" but does not deserve it. It feels more like a Thai rendition of some Disneyland. That said, it does offer a few nice photo opportunities.

The Palace and other delightful buildings are located in tranquil parkland. The grounds are well kept and most pleasant to walk in, there is some very nice planting and the statuary provides a great focus. Peaceful and pleasant, a delightful visit.
