Lovely secluded, beach. The best restaurant is quite easily the Mai Pan Rai restaurant. Good food and nice music. The beach itself is rather nice, however its not great to swim in. The water is very rough and as a result its sandy and murky....More

You get here after a roller coaster ride across the island mountains: the road literally ends here. A herd of scooters are parked at the end of it, right before you walk off to the fine sandy white beach. The bungalows on the surrounding rocks...More

popular amongst local westerners as good swimming all year round except when sea is too rough and not advisable to swim there. a few ok places to eat and stay , mai pen rai probably the best.

The beach is really nice and relaxed. We also liked the stones with Chinese character and royals’ initials that we could see along the road to the beach.

Love this place although now the concrete road is finished there are more people using the beach. But its still an old school Koh Phangan beach, with cheap huts etc.

this is an incredible place. we staued at Mai Pen Rai Bungalows and loved every minute of it. Very simple and down to earth!

very secluded beach, we reached by car. Unfortunately, the road to this place is now a totally new, concrete road, so loses some of its charm. Next year, an airport opens nearby Haad Sadet, so the charm will disappear I fear. So go visiting as...More

we like right part of this beach. But to reach it you have to walk about 10-15 min. it's very peaceful and beautiful. Enough water even during low tide.
