It was my first snorkeling experience so I don't really have any comparison. I really had a great time here though and saw a lot of colorful fish, corals and anemones I've never seen before. Useful advice: - they search you for plastic bottles before...More

The small island is very beautiful but there is no shade. And after that are too many tourists on tours from Ko Samui (special Chinese). Food and drinks very expensive. Nothing special for me.

Read so many reviews here and hesitated for a long time before finally deciding to go since the weather was cloudy in Koh Tao and strong winds meant most of the beaches had big waves, so NangYuan it is then. Yes, the other reviews are...More

Thought we would get there early to beat crowds but doesn't open till 10am. Also plastic bottles and cans are banned on the island so don't bother bringing them. Obviously beautiful- best snorkeling on pier side of island. Also take insect repellent if planning on...More

Got a taxi boat here from Sairee beach with friends to go snorkelling, beware that when you arrive you have to pay an entry fee! But I would say it is worth it for the snorkelling and scenery, it's absolutely stunning!

If you can look past the totally over crowded situation and take in the pure splendour of the nature you are in for a real treat. It is a breathtakingly beautiful place. Me, how ever, found it to be an overcrowded, somewhat stressful tourist trap....More

Very beautiful Island with a nice beach and a great view from the top. The restaurants are expensive but that's expectable.

I've been told early afternoon from the locals on Koh Tao, due to the large numbers or tourist groups that come early morning. However, it may not make to big a difference if it's not busy season and the islands are not... More

Hello. Possible, but price will be high. Better to use 1-day tour or just go be big ship or fast big boat (2-3 times per day) to Koh Tao and there rent a local taxi boat to Koh Nang Yuan (about 300 Baht in both ways)

Flight to Koh Samui (about an hour) and then a ferry to Koh Tao (three hours), then a ferry from Koh Tao (half hour). Certainly not worth it for just a day trip but if you're going to Koh Tao for other reasons, it's nice
