Great island but you will loose 6-7 hours for the day just to travel to the island. 2 - 2:15 hrs from hotel to pier then another 1hr15 each way by boat. Went with Andaman Love. They are ok. We spent only 4 hours on the island. If you are bored and got nothing to do then go for it.... More

Trip was prebooked. Collected at our hotel at 6.40 am. Light breakfast at the marina. Speedboat to Similan islands. Islands were very bUsy with lots of other groups visiting at the same time. Drinks and biscuits provided on the boat. Snorkelling equipment was provided on 2 occasions during the day (45 mins). This was difficult at times due to the... More

The Similan islands are very pretty, the sea is very clean and very blue the only setback is the amount of boats that come to the islands and the huge amount of tourists which makes it a bit unsafe to swim in the sea. Myself I think that Phi Phi islands is much more beautiful but there again too many... More

No doubt that Similan island is stunning, white beach, 3-layer colour of sea, however there are too many people on the beach, u can't even enjoy the view with so many people in front of you, there're limited toilets on the island, u have to wait in the queue for 30 mins for the toilets. Besides, 1.5 hours speedboat to... More

First off I gave this place a three because of the rough ride you have to take to get there. Thank goodness my husband and I don't get seasick. I would say about 85% of the people on the speed boat were throwing up on our 1 1/2 ride there. I don't mean just throw up once type of thing.... More

The Similan Islands are phenomenal! Each Island with pristine crystal clear water and white powdered sand. The tours there are quite lengthy and require an extra early start but you get a short snorkel in a couple coral reefs then the next couple Islands to relax and swim.

The islands are truly beautiful. Turquoise clear water and an incredible white pouder sand I had never seen before. Unlike the Surin Islands they are however very crowded with tourists. We made the trip with "Enjoy Travel 77". The boat departured 1h30 later than scheduled and we didn't receive any apologies nor even an explanation for the big delay. While... More

We went to Tachai and although it was a beautiful island, it was not what we expected. We were looking forward to a full day of snorkelling in the clear, blue water and expected to see lots of colorful fish. Instead we snorkelled twice for about half an hour and there was hardly anything to see. I found out later... More
